I know how you feel. I'm African American and my son's father is Dominican. My son was born looking just like his father and I think that disappointed my family. He doesn't look like me at all really. Strangers think I'm his nanny! One ask me did I watch other kids too. My father lives 5 mins away walking from me and visits my son on holidays, while my son's grandfather on his dad side drives 45 mins to see him every other week. When my aunt met my son for the first time she said " that's your son?! At least he's cute". Anywayz forget the haters, I 100% LOVE my son. And if they can't handle they don't need to be around away. My son doesn't need that negative in his life. He will always know he is loved and wanted.
